It reads one post at a time, slowly, only when you start it. Meta does not allow automated collection, so no tool can promise an account is risk free.
Amazon shows reviews only to signed-in shoppers, so sign in to Amazon in the same Chrome. Facebook and Instagram are read with your own session, and X shows replies only when you are signed in. Google Maps shows 5 reviews unless you are signed in to Google. Reddit, YouTube, TikTok, Trustpilot, the App Store, Google Play and most others need no login.
These sources are not yet tested end to end. Etsy, eBay, Tripadvisor and Quora block automated reading, so Comment Downloader reads only what the open page itself publishes, usually the first page. If a site shows a human check, Comment Downloader stops and tells you.
